You know something is coming, don't you? I can tell. You have kept your distance from my belly this week, the morning kisses and cuddles on my ever growing stomach have faded away. At first, it broke my heart, but now I am coming to realize, this is a whole new world for you. You have clung to me like a personal back pack lately as well. As hard as it is to hold you now, I wouldn't trade it for anything. You also only let me get you to sleep too. Everything is going to change for us as a a family soon, but I can promise you that the love mommy and daddy have for you will just continue to grow and grow. You are our buddy. I know, at times, it will be hard to give 100% of our attention to you like we normally do, but I can promise you that we will be devoted to loving and caring for you just as much as ever. You are growing into such a smart boy. You will be a great big brother. I can't wait for you to see your baby sister for the first time. I am going to miss you kissing my belly though, and laughing so hard when baby moves, but the new memories and moments with your sister here will make up for all of that. I look at you and I get teary eyed instantly. I guess it could be from the fact I am 9 months pregnant, but I think it is mostly stemming from how proud of a mommy I am to have you. You are so independent. You are so smart. You are so Perfect. I don't know where daddy and I would be with out you. You have broughten us so much happiness. It is beyond belief. You can still catch us staring at you in amazement, that you are forever Ours. I promise to always listen to you and hear what you are saying. I promise to work my hardest for you, even when it is the most difficult thing. We promise you the best life possible. In 1 month, you will be 2 years old. 2 whole years. Surely, we fell into some sort of time warp, because it has flown by way to fast to be real. You are beyond what I imagined you being. You just keep impressing me. You can sing twinkle twinkle, and your ABC's are getting perfected. We love you so much and nothing will ever change that. I am so excited to see you be a big brother. Thank you for teaching me what life is. We love you buddy.
Next week is your birthday party. We decided to do it at the beginning of May because baby can be here at any time and I want to make sure we have a big celebration of YOU before she does. We rented out a room at Airborne. It is filled with trampolines and foam pits. You love it. Lots of family and friends will be there. It will be Toy Story themed, your favorite. We are excited to share the big day with you and everyone else. On your actual birthday, we will take you to the Zoo again. You love animals and we love watching your reaction.
I hope you are enjoying your nap baby. You look so perfect and peaceful. Once you wake up, adventure begins. I love you baby boy.

Labor and Delivery
Oh fun. Fun Fun fun! I ended up in labor and deliver on tuesday night after some complications and lots of contractions to follow. Little bit frustrating as I had an appointment that morning and I insisted everything was going good and I didn't need a cervical exam. Well, we dropped Logan off with my mom and headed there. Got hooked up to the monitors and they determined my contractions were far to many, they were also getting painful, but they would only last 35 seconds and be gone. They gave me my first round of terbutaline to stop them, that did nothing except make me shake out of control and make my heart race. Second dose, same thing but only intensified my heart problems, and I decided to not get the third dose. My cervix wasnt changing with the contractions and the shot was freaking me out, it can not be good on your heart! I decided to wait it out. Finally was released and was told to stay down. YEA RIGHT! I have a toddler, are you crazy!
It has been crazy. Lost my mucus plug the last two days, contractions still coming. My babies don't like to stay in place. :)
She is just as active as ever though. I have had a feeling all week, before my labor and delivery bout, that she would be making her grand entrance before expected. I guess we wait and see now.
Rory and I are looking at a home that we really like. It is yet to be built. A little freaky to me to build a house, but I guess we see!
Logan is just as crazy as ever and getting smarter and smarter every day.
I love my little family!

Faster than expected!
Just a little over 8 weeks til my due date, and that is if I make it til than! Blaire is now dropping, which is incredibly uncomfortable, but very reassuring I won't be pregnant forever. 8 months pregnant and feeling bleh. Getting to that stage where I just want to be done. But, it is coming along nicely.
Rory has had 5 interviews this week! It has been crazy hectic and busy. I can not wait til everything settles down and I can have my hubby back :) I am almost positive he got the job he wanted, and if not, a few other companies really want him so what ever works.
Buying a house is a lot closer than we had expected. We were about to sign another year lease on our apartment because we wernt sure if we would be able to get into a house in time, well a friend of my moms pulled some strings and we should be able to put offers in on houses in June! Yay! We are approved for around 250,000 which is great! Meanwhile, we will be doing a month to month lease til we are in a house so we are not locked into a contract for another year.
Logan is a talker. Crazy kid. Yesterday, we were waiting in the car for Rory and Logan had been sitting in the driver seat. He had the window down and right as a big group of people walked passed our car, he leaned against the horn for what seemed like the longest 5 seconds ever and as they all looked over, he yelled out the window and waved irratically, HI! I was so embarrassed, but had a good laugh after words. He is so cute and smart. Knows every sound of the alphabet, except 2-3. Knows lots of his shapes, Starting to say letters and point them out, like the letter S. Everytime we go to Smiths, he has to find every S in the store and point it out. I could not be more proud of him.
Potty training has its up and down days. I am not forcing him though I want him to be ready all the way.
We have all the big things we need for baby now, but we have to start on buying all of her clothes. Yes! The fun part! I cant wait to be a mommy to two!

Toy Story On Ice
Our little guy (maybe not so little) LOVES Toy Story. Seriously obsessed. Knows all the characters and everything. Rory bought tickets to Toy Story On Ice last week and we took him out to eat than to watch the show. He had such a fun time. The whole time he sat there clapping every time they did something cool and pointing out Woody and Buzz. We got him a pretty cool Woody toy with the hat and all that he adores. That place was ridiculously expensive, but we just couldn't leave with out a souvenir. We had a great time and I look forward to doing more things like this as a family, which is coming soon, Rorys last night at school is tonight! He has finished his final test and tonight they will score it. He has done so awesome, I am proud of him. He also just started real estate school since he will be investing in houses with his dad at the end of the year.
Last week, Rorys grandma died. It was so sad to think there would be no more visits with Logan to see Grandma Great, but she was ready to go and had been for a while. She will now be reunited with her soulmate eternally. Rory was a paul bearer at her funeral. He looked very handsome. Logan really loved his Grandma Great. Always gave her loves. I think he knew, as they set the casket down, Logan pointed and said "awww". We are so blessed that he got to know her in the little life he has lived. She was an amazing woman and so caring.
Today is Davids birthday. He turns 5 years old! Crazy how time flies! My doctors appointment went well last week. So far, there has been no progression of my cervix, but I feel like that will change next week. She is now taking me every two weeks because of risk of preterm labor. This week has been full of painful contractions. Lots of them!
Nesting is off the hook lately. I have cleaned everything in my house already, and I started over this week. I dont mind though, I love cleaning!
Logan is a champ at talking. He says everything I swear. I love him to pieces!

27 weeks, potty training, and house buying
Whew, can you say stressful!
I am now 27 weeks. 13 weeks to go! My morning sickness cut out for about 2 weeks and has come back. I have gained 12 pounds total. A little below average, but great all around. Our little girl is like a ninja in there. I am a little concerned because she turned heads up and has been sitting that way for a few days now. This is the first time I have felt her do this, so lets hope she changes back before my due date! Other wise, everything is going swell. Contractions are on the rise and are getting more painful, this is right around the time with Logan I started dilating so we will see!
Logan has been doing well! He talks up a storm. He can say almost anything, or atleast he tries too. He is our big boy now. I told Rory the other day, the only thing keeping him at the baby stage now is his diapers and his baby wash :( I think I will hold on to that baby wash as long as possible, because the diaper thing is fading quick! He was doing so great at potty training, only having 2 accidents a day, but reverted a little which is very normal. I decided not to pressure him and let him guide me. He is very ahead on everything he does, and his pediatrician let me know that most boys won't even attempt to potty train til they turn 3, so he is doing great. We took a two week break, until he started showing signs he was ready to go again. Last night he told me he needed to go potty and went on his cool potty. He is doing great again. I am just very proud of him. He exceeds everything he does. We love him to pieces.
House buying, probably the worst nightmare and dream come true at the same time. It is such a huge process and very stressful, but the excitement of finally owning a home and beginning life in a home is incredible. Its always two steps forward, one step back. I guess we will get there when the time is right!
Rory and I bought a carpet cleaner the other day. I will finally feel like my house is 100% clean. I have cleaned every baseboard, window blind wall and anything else you can think of in the house. I ran out of things to clean. Even cleaned the washer and dryer. So, with the carpet cleaner, I have a few things left to do! :)
Last weekend we had our good friends over for pizza and games. John and Tiffany are our closest friends. We share the most in common with them, plus we all get a long. Tiffany is such a great friend, I am always comfortable around her to be my self. We all just enjoy hanging out. They have two very sweet girls that Logan loves!
Well, off to find something to clean. Bye!

Pee pee on the potty
So on friday the tenth, Logan used the potty for the first time. We have been trying to get him to go on it for a while now, because he refuses to wear a diaper and only wants to wear his buzz underwear, well he finally went pee pee on the potty! I could not have been more proud over pee. We went and bought him his own little toilet, with cars and everything. He loves it. He has accidents still, but he is progressing well. I can not believe this kid. He is so smart, he knows things that I didn't even think he did. He knows how many 1 and 2 is, and can show us on his fingers. He knows the colors pink, blue and green sometimes red. He can name the sounds of lots of letters and he can point out circles and learning the others. I want to brag to everyone about him. He makes Rory and I so proud. He is talking a lot, and follows directions well. He LOVES to help mommy clean.
Rory is at a job interview right now with MP Welding. This is his 2nd interview this week and he has another one on friday. I am so proud of him. I know he will land one of these. First they test him on his welding knowledge, than they interview him. Rory is very charming and can win anyone over with his personality, and he knows so much about welding now that I know with out a doubt he will do great on the test.
Saturday we had Jared Marci and their little girl Lina over. Logan loves Lina. Rory and I made Olive Garden Alfredo with fetucinni and home made bread sticks and Better than Sex cake. It all turned out great. I love being around friends with stuff in common with us. They are lots of fun and understand how it is to have kids :)
Reeces birthday is on Wed. so Rory is taking him paintballing. We are buying him a video game he has been wanting. Than on saturday we are all going to Airborne. It should be a lot of fun.
Baby Blaire is doing well and growing lots. I look very pregnant now, and I am 25 weeks. 15 weeks til my due date, but we will see if we make it to than. I have lots of contractions and braxton hicks now.
For Logans Valentines day present, we took him to Build a Bear again. We also took him last year. This is a little tradition we started on his first Valentines. I think it is important to show them how much you love them on Valentines day as well. He got a stuffed monkey and we dressed it in a Buzz light year suit. He loves it!
We are taking him to Target to get a movie and chocolates tonight :)
Rory got a few things for Valentines. He got his leathers for welding, new shoes, and we are buying him a paddle for his Xbox. I will get my present tomorrow, but I am not sure what it is yet :)
Everything is going great and time is flying by! I can't believe Feb. is almost half way over.
Time to clean the house, see ya guy!

24 weeks, six months down!
The past week has been a little rough for bubs and me. Because I had preterm labor with Logan starting at 29 weeks with out even realizing it for three weeks, any little pain freaks me out with this little girl. All week I have had contractions. Not Braxton Hicks (Practice contractions, painless) These were full on contractions. They were not consistent, but they were painful. I also started losing small pieces of my mucus plug. Your mucus plug can regenerate itself over and over, but it is a sign that your cervix is dilating. After waiting it out and staying down, I headed to my appt. on tuesday. Doctor ran an FFN which tests if you will go into labor with in the next four weeks and than she checked my cervix. Thankfully, it was still firm and high, but it was very slightly dilated. So, nothing to worry about and no bed rest yet! Yay! The FFN came out negative, thank goodness! Baby is still measuring small, but doctor is not worried because I am still very small and started under weight. Her heart beat was 163-166. Nice and strong. She likes to move away from the doppler :) My heart beat was really fast, but that is normal for me. She is growing and growing and growing! We are crossing my fingers that we can have a long healthy pregnancy with no preterm labor or bedrest, but my doctor says that chances of preterm labor with this one is pretty high. Luckily I made it full term with Logan, so lets all cross our fingers!
