27 weeks, potty training, and house buying

Whew, can you say stressful!
I am now 27 weeks. 13 weeks to go! My morning sickness cut out for about 2 weeks and has come back. I have gained 12 pounds total. A little below average, but great all around. Our little girl is like a ninja in there. I am a little concerned because she turned heads up and has been sitting that way for a few days now. This is the first time I have felt her do this, so lets hope she changes back before my due date! Other wise, everything is going swell. Contractions are on the rise and are getting more painful, this is right around the time with Logan I started dilating so we will see!

Logan has been doing well! He talks up a storm. He can say almost anything, or atleast he tries too. He is our big boy now. I told Rory the other day, the only thing keeping him at the baby stage now is his diapers and his baby wash :( I think I will hold on to that baby wash as long as possible, because the diaper thing is fading quick! He was doing so great at potty training, only having 2 accidents a day, but reverted a little which is very normal. I decided not to pressure him and let him guide me. He is very ahead on everything he does, and his pediatrician let me know that most boys won't even attempt to potty train til they turn 3, so he is doing great. We took a two week break, until he started showing signs he was ready to go again. Last night he told me he needed to go potty and went on his cool potty. He is doing great again. I am just very proud of him. He exceeds everything he does. We love him to pieces.

House buying, probably the worst nightmare and dream come true at the same time. It is such a huge process and very stressful, but the excitement of finally owning a home and beginning life in a home is incredible. Its always two steps forward, one step back. I guess we will get there when the time is right!

Rory and I bought a carpet cleaner the other day. I will finally feel like my house is 100% clean. I have cleaned every baseboard, window blind wall and anything else you can think of in the house. I ran out of things to clean. Even cleaned the washer and dryer. So, with the carpet cleaner, I have a few things left to do! :)

Last weekend we had our good friends over for pizza and games. John and Tiffany are our closest friends. We share the most in common with them, plus we all get a long. Tiffany is such a great friend, I am always comfortable around her to be my self. We all just enjoy hanging out. They have two very sweet girls that Logan loves!

Well, off to find something to clean. Bye!

Pee pee on the potty

So on friday the tenth, Logan used the potty for the first time. We have been trying to get him to go on it for a while now, because he refuses to wear a diaper and only wants to wear his buzz underwear, well he finally went pee pee on the potty! I could not have been more proud over pee. We went and bought him his own little toilet, with cars and everything. He loves it. He has accidents still, but he is progressing well. I can not believe this kid. He is so smart, he knows things that I didn't even think he did. He knows how many 1 and 2 is, and can show us on his fingers. He knows the colors pink, blue and green sometimes red. He can name the sounds of lots of letters and he can point out circles and learning the others. I want to brag to everyone about him. He makes Rory and I so proud. He is talking a lot, and follows directions well. He LOVES to help mommy clean.

Rory is at a job interview right now with MP Welding. This is his 2nd interview this week and he has another one on friday. I am so proud of him. I know he will land one of these. First they test him on his welding knowledge, than they interview him. Rory is very charming and can win anyone over with his personality, and he knows so much about welding now that I know with out a doubt he will do great on the test.

Saturday we had Jared Marci and their little girl Lina over. Logan loves Lina. Rory and I made Olive Garden Alfredo with fetucinni and home made bread sticks and Better than Sex cake. It all turned out great. I love being around friends with stuff in common with us. They are lots of fun and understand how it is to have kids :)

Reeces birthday is on Wed. so Rory is taking him paintballing. We are buying him a video game he has been wanting. Than on saturday we are all going to Airborne. It should be a lot of fun.

Baby Blaire is doing well and growing lots. I look very pregnant now, and I am 25 weeks. 15 weeks til my due date, but we will see if we make it to than. I have lots of contractions and braxton hicks now.

For Logans Valentines day present, we took him to Build a Bear again. We also took him last year. This is a little tradition we started on his first Valentines. I think it is important to show them how much you love them on Valentines day as well. He got a stuffed monkey and we dressed it in a Buzz light year suit. He loves it!
We are taking him to Target to get a movie and chocolates tonight :)

Rory got a few things for Valentines. He got his leathers for welding, new shoes, and we are buying him a paddle for his Xbox. I will get my present tomorrow, but I am not sure what it is yet :)

Everything is going great and time is flying by! I can't believe Feb. is almost half way over.

Time to clean the house, see ya guy!

24 weeks, six months down!

The past week has been a little rough for bubs and me. Because I had preterm labor with Logan starting at 29 weeks with out even realizing it for three weeks, any little pain freaks me out with this little girl. All week I have had contractions. Not Braxton Hicks (Practice contractions, painless) These were full on contractions. They were not consistent, but they were painful. I also started losing small pieces of my mucus plug. Your mucus plug can regenerate itself over and over, but it is a sign that your cervix is dilating. After waiting it out and staying down, I headed to my appt. on tuesday. Doctor ran an FFN which tests if you will go into labor with in the next four weeks and than she checked my cervix. Thankfully, it was still firm and high, but it was very slightly dilated. So, nothing to worry about and no bed rest yet! Yay! The FFN came out negative, thank goodness! Baby is still measuring small, but doctor is not worried because I am still very small and started under weight. Her heart beat was 163-166. Nice and strong. She likes to move away from the doppler :) My heart beat was really fast, but that is normal for me. She is growing and growing and growing! We are crossing my fingers that we can have a long healthy pregnancy with no preterm labor or bedrest, but my doctor says that chances of preterm labor with this one is pretty high. Luckily I made it full term with Logan, so lets all cross our fingers!

23 weeks and nesting!

Let the clean freak in me come out! I am nesting like crazy! I didn't nest with Logan til I was around 30 weeks, but I am only 23 weeks and it is crazy! I have been cleaning every thing in my house, from the base boards to the light switches. I am also craving to eat cleaning products. MMM, I would love to brush my teeth with Comet or poor me a glass or nice cold Pinesol :)

A few nights ago, we had a little scare. I started having contractions. These were not Braxton Hicks (practice contractions) These were full on and real. Luckily they stopped after a few hours, but the thought worries me. With Logan, I went into early labor at 30 weeks, thankfully it stopped it self, but I was put on bed rest til I hit full term. Bedrest with a toddler is not very ideal, so I am hoping that won't be the case for me.

My morning sickness is still here and bad. I hate it. I have only gained 5 or 6 pounds this pregnancy, and because I was underweight to start with, it should be closer to 10-15. But I am not complaining because baby Blaire is healthy.

We are only a month or so out til we have our cosigner on our house! I am getting so excited. It will be nice to finally have our OWN home.

Rory takes his test this week. I am so excited for him. He has put in a few resumes and everything is looking good so far. He is such a hard worker and so dedicated.

Logan is so smart, and learning like crazy. He can tell us so many sounds of the alphabet, as well as animals and vehicles. He can tell us A, B, C, E, H, S, and F. He can tell us the sounds a dog makes, a cow, a baby, train, airplane, daddy (says no no no :) ) monkey, lion and more. He understands everything we say. He listens very well! He knows a few names, like Reece, Brooky and sometimes Affy and Reily.

Time is flying by with this pregnancy. I am SO excited!
