20 weeks

Half way there! Yay! I am so excited to have made it this far. Baby is always sooooo active, we love watching her transform my tummy into a punching and kicking bag. She kicks so hard now, and we can see when her little body moves across my belly.

Logan is a talker. Full on. He is so smart. He loves to sing, and dance! Right now he is OBSESSED with Lmfao Sexy and I know It. He makes us play it over and over and he dances on webcam. His newest words are apple, hate, and he will copy what Dora tells him to say like backpack, he will say packpack. He climbs on everything and I am waiting for the day he breaks a bone or needs stitches. He responds to the interactive cartoons and does it very well. He also sings along with his favorite movie at the moment, The Letter Factory. He says the sounds the letter makes. I am such a proud mommy. He loves helping me clean and gets me things when I ask. He no longer fights diaper changes, and love his bubble bath before his bedtime snack. He sleeps in his big boy bed in his own bedroom as well.

Yesterday, for dinner I made toasted turkey, ranch and swiss subs. Rory gobbled them down and LOVED them. Tonight I will be making Mizrithra pasta and Alfredo. :)

Tomorrow is our Ultrasound to check on our little girl and make sure everything is going well. I always get really nervous for these!

Well, off to put Logan down for nap, bye!

Bad sickness

I have discovered a new addiction that is slowly taking over me. It consumes my thoughts, and when I see it or something relevant to it I get all shakey and excited. I am now addicted to coupon shopping :) My mom has always been an avid coupon shopper. For ten plus years she has been doing it, going to the store and spending less than half on her original order. She is one of those people you would see on Extreme Couponing, but before it was cool and popular! LOL! Rory and I would go make the shopping trips for her when I lived with her, and we DREADED it. I could never understand why she needed 300 packs of toilet paper and 1,000 bottles of laundry soap. To me, it was silly. Now that we live on our own and know the expenses of buying toilet paper once a week I totally get it, and I am totally hopping on the train! A few days ago we found coupons for $2.00 off any 12 pack of Charmin Toilet Paper. So than, we sat on those coupons for a few days waiting for an amazing sale. A 12 pack of Charmin is usually $10.00 and up. Well, once we seen them hit $5.99, we jumped on it! We went and got 40 packs. I bought seven, because in my tiny apartment there is not a lot of room! I spent thirty bucks on 7 12 packs (that is 84 individual rolls!) and a six pack of Bounty Paper Towels which we also got $2.00 of $6.00. Now, thirty bucks is usually what I would spend on two packs of toilet paper and maybe 2 individual rolls of paper towels. I am so excited! My mom and I are going to go atleast once a month and stock up on everything I will need while living in a house. Speaking of house, we applied for our home loan. So excited! My credit came back at about 690 and Rorys is at 615 ( which is great! Considering he started at 430 before my mom helped us clean it all up!) So now we wait! Well, off to the store, we are making toasted Turkey Ranch and Swiss sandwhiches before Rory has to leave for work. Adios!

Weekly goals

I know, I have been blogging like crazy lately! But, I have been thinking. I want to start weekly goals and achieve them. If I write them out and have to go back to them, they will be easier for me to do.

This week, I want to cook this meal for Rory and logan.
http://sixsistersstuff.blogspot.com/2011/04/chicken-cordon-bleu.html
Rory loves chicken cordon bleu and this one looks so easy and yummy!
So, by next tuesday, I will cook this meal for us :)

My Resolutions

I know, we all make them, and we all break at least one! Well, I would like to make mine simple enough that I can achieve them and add more after words :)

Here are a few that are most important to me. In no particular order!

--More Patience--
I would like to have more patience when it comes to, well, everything! I would like to not get so anxious when the house is a mess, or so upset when Logan is having a grumpy day and less irritable when I have a migraine. I would like to tell my feelings to Rory with out being a brat, because he listens and that is important.

--More Productive--
Since becoming pregnant, I have been either to sick, to tired, or my head hurts just to bad to do anything. I use to have the house cleaned when Rory would get home from work, but it has just been so hard these last few months. Luckily, I have an awesome hubby who doesn't mind helping me out and you will never hear him complain about it either. I use to take Logan on walks every day, and I would love to start doing that again, atleast on the days warm enough to do so. He is a lot like me and hates being cooped up in the house all day. I would like to start getting ready more for the day and feeling pretty.

--Eat more healthy, cook more--

I love baking and cooking and I would like to do it more. I would like to eat out less and cook meals for my family. This goes along with being more productive. I want to have atleast three meals at home a week. I want to drink less pop, this is one I have already started. Pop in cans makes my morning sickness worst, so I usually only drink it from fast food places, so it will help to be cooking more so I won't have those to turn too!

--Date nights--

Since having Logan, Rory and I have cut back A LOT on going out on dates. We usually have date night ins which are a lot of fun, but I think it is important to have one on one times as well. I would like to have atleast one date a month with just Rory and I planned. I would also like to have family dates atleast once a month as well. Taking Logan to the park or bounce house, something we all enjoy.

--Buy our first home--

This one is important! I want to bring our new baby home to our home. Not an apartment. We would love to have it by May at the latest.

So thats them! I know they are very accomplishable and I know they will help better my life!

19 weeks and 19 months! Happy New Years!

So I am officially nineteen weeks pregnant. It is just flying by so fast. I have gained about 3 pounds and you still can not tell I am pregnant. I have a very teeny tiny baby bump as of now. She is such an active little one. I started feeling her kicks at 14 weeks, Rory could feel them at about 17 weeks and at 18 weeks you could see them very clearly on my stomach. She is very full of energy. She kicks most when Logan is cuddling mama or Rory is rubbing my belly. Logan LOVES kissing her. I am scheduled for our 2nd ultrasound next week to check on her health and make sure she is growing correctly and check her heart and brain and bones. I am always more nervous than excited for ultrasounds, but it will be good to see her again.

Logan is now nineteen months and talking like a mad man. His new favorite words are apple, soft, dog, and he is learning names. He can say Knox but it sounds most like Kno, he can say Reily, but he says Ryee, and Reece he says Ree! He can tell us the sounds that different animals make, the sound a train makes, and he can tell me what sounds the letter A, B and S make. He is just getting so smart. He is still extra petite so the doctors are monitoring his weight gain. I think he just takes after daddy and will be tall and skinny! His favorite foods are spaghettios, ice cream and pizza. Typical boy :) He is now no longer wanting to sleep with mama and dada. In fact, if we put him in bed with us while he sleeps, he will not sleep through the night. He is so independent. He likes to sleep alone. Big boy! I hate it and love it at the same time!

We took Logan to the bounce house again last week for our little family date. He is so fun to watch. He loves to try and jump and has a love hate thing going with going down the slides by him self.

New Years was a lot of fun. We went to some friends house for the first half of the night and hung out with them for a bit, than we were off to my moms for the rest of the night. Logan loves going to Grandma Connies! We watched the ball drop and than watched off my moms balcony at all of the fireworks. It is so cool to see the whole valley celebrating!

Rory is now almost finished with school! He has about a month left. He took very well to welding, it almost came naturally to him. His teachers are so impressed with how good he is already! I am super duper proud of him.

We are now only 500 dollars away from reaching our goal down payment for a house. We will continue to save until we have to use it.

My new years resolution is to be the best mom I can be, be the best wife I can be and to get into a house. I know with my awesome husband by my side anything we want will happen. I also hope to acheive the lose this babys pregnancy weight at the end. I loved being at 100 pounds and will be excited to get back there!

Rory is at work right now but will be home in a few hours. I truly miss him every time he leaves. Its so funny how in love with eachother we still are and how much it continues to grow. I am just so happy with my life and all the he has given me.

Here is to another great year! Bring it on 2012!

16 1/2 weeks ultrasound

Today, Rory, Logan and I went to Fetal Fotos to find out what we are having. We just couldn't wait four more weeks, so we porked out a hundred bucks and went there, it was so worth it. Logan will be having a little sister! Yep! We are so excited! I got so reared up, and although Rory won't admit it, he did too :) Logan sat next to me and watched the screen the whole time in fascination. Our dreams are coming true. We got to see her yawn and wave and wiggle around :). Her name will be Blaire Nicole, still debating the spelling on her first name. It was a great birthday present! Tomorrow I will no longer be a teen! Ha so weird to say! Logan also had to go get his shots today
:(. It was heartbreaking. His weight is still low for his height, but I think he is just petite :). Time to cook and clean, bye!
