So last night, we made yummy strawberry crepes with a yummy filling. All homemade :). I planned to make then at my moms a few nights ago, but plans fell through so I made them for Rory last night. They were soooooo good! Tasted like they were straight from I-hops. Rorys mom makes norwegian pancakes for breakfast on special occasions, they are super yummy! These scored a big ten points from Rory! Yea!
Tonight I am making dessert at my moms house. Cinnamon Roll Cake from this blogger http://cookinupnorth.blogspot.com/2011/07/cinnamon-roll-cake.html. So yummy! I can not wait!
Logan is becoming more and more interested in potty training. He tells me when he needs to go potty and takes his diaper off. He will sit on the potty for ever and not pee, climb off and pee on the floor next to it. Little stinker. I almost wish he wasn't ready until we get into our house to lower the confusion, but knowing our little smarty pants, he jumps right into things.
As of now, I am just about 22 weeks. I have gained 5 pounds total. Woohoo! I hope I can gain the minimum of 20-25 pounds so once I get this little girl in my arms I can jump right back into weighing 105-110 pounds. That is where I feel my best at!
Rory has this weekend off, finally. He is applying at a welding job that he is excited about. The only downside is that he will occasionally have to leave for days on end to another state for work. Not excited about that, but if he gets this job it will be great for us and him.
Today, I decided to take a break from cleaning my house. Ha! Bad idea, I know, but my feet are hurting like crazy and I have bad morning sickness today. Its a sign, take a break Shelby!
Well, I have to take a shower, FINALLY! Being a mommy kinda delays your needs for showers :) Bye!

Sleeping habits and Crepes!
So ever since finding out I was pregnant, Logans sleep habits have been off the wall! Some days he sleeps all through the night til nine in the morning, others he wakes up 4-5 times a night and is up at 6 in the morning. He goes to bed at the same general time every night, so I just don't get it. We have tried EVERYTHING! I guess, we just wait it out. He is giving us lots of practice for baby number two though! Last night, he woke up a lot. He was up when daddy left for work at 5:30 am ate a bowl of oatmeal than fell back to sleep til a little after nine. Such a silly kid.
For my parents Christmas present, we got them a gift card to a steak house with $50 on it. She asked me to babysit at her house tonight so they can put it to use, and of coarse I said yes! For dinner, I was going to make Rory, Logan and I homemade strawberry and banana crepes, but now I will be making it for them and all of my siblings. I plan on using this recipe for the crepes http://sixsistersstuff.blogspot.com/2012/01/healthy-meals-monday-strawberry-banana.html and this one for the filling http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Strawberry-Banana-Crepes.
I do plan a few minor changes on those recipes though. I plan on adding a little Vanilla and Cinnamon to the crepe recipe. I am also going to get cherries for Rorys filling, because he LOVES cherrries in his crepes, especially with the sauce.
This weekend, I am going to be do doing some photos of my youngest siblings. They have all grown up so much and I love them all a ton! Reily just recently cut six inches of her hair off and donated it to locks of love. Than she got some highlights and an eye brow wax. She is like a totally new person. So beautiful still though. Reece, he is a pure genius. All of his teachers brag about him constantly. He always has straight a's and he is so smart. He can talk about things that I would never imagine knowing anything about. Afton is still the baby of the family, but she has such a big personality. She is so funny and is always making every one laugh.
I adore all of my family.

Family Time
The three day weekend with Rory was so nice! He goes back to work tomorrow but it was nice to have time with him to ourselves. He works so hard, and he definitely needed a break.
We spent lots of time with my family this weekend. Yesterday I made stuffed pasta shells with homemade tomato sauce for dinner. It was really yummy! It took a long time, but it was worth it. Now, we are at home relaxing and preparing for reality that hits tomorrow! Rory working full time and school full time and me being a full time mommy and wife!
My little sister Afton is sleeping over tonight. Logan loves my siblings and has so much fun with them. We found a neighborhood with houses that fit our budget perfectly and are for once, not on short sale! It is in the neighborhood with the Up house. We love them, and I am crossing our fingers we can start the process soon. They are all brand new too, which means no one has lived in them yet. I am SO excited!
Rory is on a roll on his schooling. He finished it in half the time as every one else, in about two weeks is when he will get his first certificate, than he will start the class for his next certificate. He is on the prowl for jobs right now for welding.
Logan has been a total toddler lately. His latest trick...Flooding the toilet! Yep! Rory and I were sitting for just a few minutes, and we never have to worry about the bathroom because he never goes in there with out us any more. Well, he fooled us this time! He went and flushed a whole roll of toilet paper down the toilet. It flooded the toilet, and no, not just the toilet! It went through out our house. This was a matter of minutes. Crazy kid. But, kids will be kids, and he is still the best little guy ever!
Speaking of Logan, the key to his heart is music. He is a dancing freak and loves to sing and hum! It is the cutest thing ever, I will have to post a video!
Anyways, off to clean up the house, bye for now!

Spaghetti and meatballs!
Yesterday I made Spaghetti with homemade meatballs and Garlic Bread. It all turned out very yummy. Rory has Saturday, Sunday and Monday off to spend with us. I am so excited! It is a rare event to have time together with out him leaving for work or school. Today, he went laser tagging with his little brother and when he got home I went and got a manicure and eye brow waxing with my sisters. It was lots of fun. Than, we went to my parents house while Rory and Keith played video games all night Logan showed off to Grandma Connie with his dancing skills. Now, we just finished Logans bed time routine and are relaxing with and enjoying eachothers company.
The house buying process is as stressful as everyone says it is. Right now, we have a cosigner but are waiting for some loans to go through for them before they can cosign. We will have close to $10,000 saved up by the end of February. With a cosigner, we wont need a down payment, which is part of the first time buyers program. So, with all of the money we have saved, we have decided to pay off Rorys car, his old school loan debts, and a years worth of car insurance. We owe right about $6,000 or less to Rorys car. Than, we will send about $900 for a years worth of car insurance and than we owe about $1,600 to his school loan. Once we pay his car off, that will raise my credit from 690 to in the 700's and his school loan being payed will also increase Rorys credit score. Whatever extra money we have will go back into savings. By September, if we have our house by than, we will be buying me a car since we wont have a car payment anymore! Yay!
We are going to be taking Logan to Petsmart tomorrow to look at the animals. He enjoys the simplest things, and we love being able to take him every where.

Weekly Goals
So we had our 20 week ultrasound a few days ago and everything looked great! He mentioned that she was one of the more active babies he has seen. I knew she had to be active, she moves constantly and I love it! Slowly, I have put on 3 and a half pounds, better than none. I am now measuring correctly. Every thing seems to be going well!
I achieved my weeky goal for last week. I made Chicken Cordon Bleu with green beans and a dinner roll. It was a hit! Rory loved it! I am super duper proud :) I have been doing very well with my resolutions as well.
My weekly goal for this week is to take Logan on atleast one walk and play at the park. Also to watch more carefully on the foods I eat with calorie intake in mind. I want to gain the least amount as possible this pregnancy. I need to watch more closely what I eat and how much of it I eat as well.
Tomorrow I am making spaghetti with home made meatballs. Hopefully taking Logan on a walk if the weather is good. Playing at the park a little would be nice as well!
Right now, Logan is taking a nap. He will probably wake up in fifteen to twenty minutes and hopefully eat some dinner than we will start his bed time routine. Bubble bath, teeth brush, cartoons or story with some milk and a small snack if he asks and than cuddles to bed. He is getting so big. He can open the fridge now, ohhhh great :)

20 weeks
Half way there! Yay! I am so excited to have made it this far. Baby is always sooooo active, we love watching her transform my tummy into a punching and kicking bag. She kicks so hard now, and we can see when her little body moves across my belly.
Logan is a talker. Full on. He is so smart. He loves to sing, and dance! Right now he is OBSESSED with Lmfao Sexy and I know It. He makes us play it over and over and he dances on webcam. His newest words are apple, hate, and he will copy what Dora tells him to say like backpack, he will say packpack. He climbs on everything and I am waiting for the day he breaks a bone or needs stitches. He responds to the interactive cartoons and does it very well. He also sings along with his favorite movie at the moment, The Letter Factory. He says the sounds the letter makes. I am such a proud mommy. He loves helping me clean and gets me things when I ask. He no longer fights diaper changes, and love his bubble bath before his bedtime snack. He sleeps in his big boy bed in his own bedroom as well.
Yesterday, for dinner I made toasted turkey, ranch and swiss subs. Rory gobbled them down and LOVED them. Tonight I will be making Mizrithra pasta and Alfredo. :)
Tomorrow is our Ultrasound to check on our little girl and make sure everything is going well. I always get really nervous for these!
Well, off to put Logan down for nap, bye!

Bad sickness
I have discovered a new addiction that is slowly taking over me. It consumes my thoughts, and when I see it or something relevant to it I get all shakey and excited. I am now addicted to coupon shopping :) My mom has always been an avid coupon shopper. For ten plus years she has been doing it, going to the store and spending less than half on her original order. She is one of those people you would see on Extreme Couponing, but before it was cool and popular! LOL! Rory and I would go make the shopping trips for her when I lived with her, and we DREADED it. I could never understand why she needed 300 packs of toilet paper and 1,000 bottles of laundry soap. To me, it was silly. Now that we live on our own and know the expenses of buying toilet paper once a week I totally get it, and I am totally hopping on the train! A few days ago we found coupons for $2.00 off any 12 pack of Charmin Toilet Paper. So than, we sat on those coupons for a few days waiting for an amazing sale. A 12 pack of Charmin is usually $10.00 and up. Well, once we seen them hit $5.99, we jumped on it! We went and got 40 packs. I bought seven, because in my tiny apartment there is not a lot of room! I spent thirty bucks on 7 12 packs (that is 84 individual rolls!) and a six pack of Bounty Paper Towels which we also got $2.00 of $6.00. Now, thirty bucks is usually what I would spend on two packs of toilet paper and maybe 2 individual rolls of paper towels. I am so excited! My mom and I are going to go atleast once a month and stock up on everything I will need while living in a house. Speaking of house, we applied for our home loan. So excited! My credit came back at about 690 and Rorys is at 615 ( which is great! Considering he started at 430 before my mom helped us clean it all up!) So now we wait! Well, off to the store, we are making toasted Turkey Ranch and Swiss sandwhiches before Rory has to leave for work. Adios!
