Logan is 6 weeks and 1 day :)

Love my two boys!

Haha! Logan sleeping in his crib. Super handsome!

Oh boy he is growing so much so fast! Bitter sweet. He is now 10 pounds and almost 23 inches tall. He is soooo precious and amazing and Rory and I could not be happier! On saturday we had Logan blessed. Rorys dad, grandpa and two cousins blessed him. It was such a special moment and Logan did wonderful. So this week we are planning on getting our new Prius. If everything goes well we will be driving to Oregon for our anniversary, but if we end up not getting the Prius we will just be going to Snowbird for the week and Karlee and Luke will also be coming. It should be lots of fun! Rory and I went and bought me some new clothes this week. I feel so great about my body, which is surprising for me. I can now fit in to size small shirts, they are a little snug around the chest area, but otherwise fit, I havent fit into a small since middle school! WOOHOO! My pant size is in an awkward stage but I can fit into a 27-29 depending on the brand of pants. I just feel wonderful. Rory and I are doing wonderful. I am so blessed to have Rory and Logan and my family. So friday I did a shoot for three little boys. Very cute too! Two of them were brothers and one was their cousin. They turned out very cute. It is nice to get paid doing what you love, even if it is only an occasional, extra money kind of thing. Friday night for some reason my thighs were extremely sore and I could not even touch them. I went to see my doctor today and they are determing whether or not I have red blood cell detiration. Not good but it is something you can fix which is good. Next week I have two more shoots. A little busy but it will be good for me. Rory and I's year anniversary is next month for being married, and being together a total of four years. Feels great to have found the love of my life and so mate so young so we can spend more of life together. He is an amazing dad and husband and best friend and I am so thankful for him and Logan.

Little Logans first real smile :)

I feel like I look huge in that picture :), I do look pretty good for only being two weeks out in that pic though! Logan has the cutest face ever! Rory and I did so good. I love my hubby and baby boy.
So Logan showed his mommy and daddy his first big beautiful and real smile (not a gas one either!) on July 7. Oh how precious it was. Playing with his little chin and talking to him really gets him going. It lit up our world! He is such a sweet baby. He has gained 2 pounds and grew almost 3 inches! Crazy that they grow so fast. On tuesday I go in for my six week check up. All should go well. Hopefully I healed okay from the getting cut part, but doc said because I went completely drug free that my body should heal it self fast and better. I am also getting the IUD inserted. Five years tops, but we are thinking the year Rory gets out of school to get it removed and try for another little one. Tomorrow morning I have a shoot with three little boys. I am super excited and a little nervous, I tend to get that way before a shoot. So Rory and I have started a new thing. We do show nights every night before bed. Kind of like an inhome date night. We have finished lots of series of great shows. Weeds, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Heroes. Its lots of fun! I am so lucky to have such an amazing little family! Logan is getting blessed on Saturday, I am so happy. He looks so handsome in Rorys old blessing outfit. Taking after daddy so well! Well, I better get some sleep, the shoot is at eleven AM and I have to be up at 8 to get Logan on his feeding schedule. BYE!

Logan 5 weeks 3 days!

Pictures and announcement done by me :)
Our baby boy is growing so fast! He is now 22 inches tall and around 10 pounds. Today he showed off his beautiful REAL smile, not the gassy smile, but the smile that says I LOVE YOU! It was so precious, also, last week he learned how to roll from stomach to back. He is such a smarty pants. Well, this has been an eventful month. Rorys car broke down and it is going to cost us around 6k to fix. We are planning on buying a Prius under my name, a car that can actually fit Logan in it lol. Hopefully by our anniversary we will have it. On our anniversary we plan on going up to Oregon for a week in Rorys parents time share. That is if we are doing well on finances. If not, we will just go up to Snowbird for a week. It will be nice to get away with our little family. Rory is starting Pilot Aviation school soon. I am so proud of him, he has been such a wonderful husband and is now an amazing dad. I love him so much! :). I am so surprised how fast my body bounced back from this pregnancy. My fear was that I would not lose all the weight just from hearing from friends and such how hard it was for them, but here I am 5 weeks after givng birth and lost almost 45 pounds. That is more than I gained. I am still losing too! I am 5 pounds from my goal weight. Well, this month has been a take off with photo shoots. Friday I have a shoot with three little boys who are all cousins and brothers. Next week I have my nephews. The next week is my sisters family, and then at the beginning of August I have three little girls who are all sisters. In September I have a wedding on the 25th and bridals that day as well. I did some engagements at the beginning of the month as well. I am so blessed to have life going so perfect all the time. Of coarse there are the down times but the up times make up for it. I got my bangs cut. I love it! I just had them cut straight across and frame my face, I look so good :). Well, I am off to feed Logan, see you all later!

He finally arrived!

Baby Logan is finally here! On May 30th, I noticed my contractions were much more painful than they had been before. I was having them all night, ten minutes apart. Rory noticed and practically forced me to the hospital. I really did not want to be sent home again in early labor. I made him the deal that I would go if we could get a cinnamon roll from Mcdonalds first :). At 11:00 a.m. we arrived at the doctors. I was in pain, but handling it well. My contractions were really irregular, so I thought nothing to much of it. I expected to be sent home. After talking to some lets just say not so smart nurses for half an hour, they finally took us to our room and checked me. I was 5 cm. dilated and completely effaced. WOOHOO! She told me she wasn't letting me leave and they got me hooked up to some IV's ( which also took half an hour and five pokes ). She told me that it would go by slow so get some rest. An hour later she checked and I was at a 7. Woah, that was fast. They were surprised. I had my mom rush our camera over, we hadn't even gathered everything we wanted. By the time she got their I was at an 8. At about 4:00 my water broke and contractions were more painful. They were all so surprised I handled the pain so well with out even asking for the epidural. They made sure I didn't want it. Nope, I sure didn't. I was having back labor and it was very painful at that point, but I just took each contraction once at a time. They finally realized that Logan was facing up, which is why my back hurt so bad. Luckily I had Rory tickling my face and the nurse rubbing my back. The doctors kept trying to turn him with each contraction, that was soooo painful, worst than the contraction. He was not budging. Labor was going to be really hard with him in that position. Finally, when I had reached a 10, they realized that he turned on his own, GOOD BOY!!!! I started pushing at 6:00 p.m., I gave it my all while yelling I am pooping! I really didn't care though. Everything was out that window at that point. He was crowning and was not coming out. The doctor decided I needed an episiotomy. With my next push she cut me and than numbed me after words. I heard and felt it, but it was not much worst than the crowning. At this point, Rory is feeling faint because he just watched me get cut. Than his head was out. I had to completely hold back my push. His head I guess was wobbling every where as Dr. Oneida cleaned out his mouth and nose, Rory was realllly faint at this point. Than with one big push, he was here. Finally. What a joyful moment. Rory had to sit down on the toilet, he was not doing well. He cut the cord. Logan was born at 6:22 p.m. 7 pounds 14 oz, 19 inches long and more perfect than ever. With a head full of dark hair. He is so cute. Rory and I fell in love immediately. Going all natural was the biggest accomplishment of my life, as well as finding a husband as perfect as Rory. Rory has been such an amazing dad and husband. He does everything for us and makes sure life is as easy as possible for us. I am so thankful for him and my little family. Logan is now 9 days old and exclusively breast fed. It is tricky, but we are both adjusting well to it. I have lost 27 pounds, 4 pounds to my pre weight, 10 til my goal weight. I know I can get there with lots of exersize and healthy eating. Well, Rory and I could not be happier. We adore little Logan and are so blessed to have eachother.

Almost 40 weeks!

Well, Little Logan coming early is not happening! Unless he can make his show in the next day, other wise, he will come on his due date or be late. Either way, I am happy. I am STILL in early labor. How? I have no clue. Most people are in early labor for 27 hours tops, me, oh its been a good week! They expected him last Sunday, that didn't happen. My doctor offered to induce me on Friday, my due date, but I would rather him come on his own when he is ready. Wheres the fun in choosing his birthday? If he doesn't come by Tuesday, we have to choose a day next week to be induced. Since I am trying to go all natural, I want to avoid an induction at all costs. They are more painful, and can last longer. It is said, 7 out of 10 people end up with C-sections when induced because of how long the labor can last. No thanks. I am 3 cm. 80% effaced at a -1 station. I am at an 11 on the bishop scale. She thinks I will for sure have him by Tuesday, I just don't know! Well it has been a great week! Rory and I's good friends Jared and Marci announced they are getting married end of August, beginning of September. They also just found out they are expecting! So cool! It will be good to have close friends with kids close to ours. It is 1:37 and I am up with contractions. I just got done puking in fact. Not sure why. Maybe the fact that I STILL have morning sickness every day, OH WELL! I can not wait to meet Logan! Rory is soooo excited. He loves him so much. I can not wait at all. He just needs to get here. Well, I am off to do some puzzles and play Solitaire. Good night!

38 weeks and ready!

I am 38 weeks tomorrow! Woohoo! I am 2 cms. and 80% effaced. Lost my mucus plug and passed my bloody show, any day they say! She said most likely this week, but it could still be a few more weeks. I noticed more contractions tonight though, yay! I feel like every little thing that happens I freak out thinking oh my gosh labor is coming! Usually after losing bloody show it comes with in 24 hours to a week. This happened on tuesday so I guess we will see lol! We have everything all set up for Logan and ready to meet him. Crib is up, seat is in the car, clothes washed and put away, and Rory and I just waiting and waiting. This pregnancy flew by! I am going to be sad not being pregnant any more though, Although I have had morning sickness since six weeks pregnant, I have stretch marks on my lower tummy ( Rory says he loves them :) ) heart burn, violation of my lady parts and weigh gain, I am really going to miss his kicking, hic cups, my belly, watching him move around, talking to him and getting a response back. It will all be missed. I know though, that when the time comes, we will have another and I will get to experience it all again. For now, we will enjoy the time of Rory, Shelby and Logan time! Well, I am off to get my nails done by the best husband ever, than cleaning! See ya later!

Nine months pregnant and ready for Logan

I am now officially nine months pregnant! Woohoo! I can not believe how fast this pregnancy went by. I am 1 centimeter dialated and 50% effaced and started losing my plug this week. My next appt. is on tuesday and after that Dr. Oneida will allow me to go into labor with out stopping it! Yay! My baby shower was a success, so much fun too! I got a lot of stuff! We still have to get a few things but we are set other wise. Theres 27 days til my due date, but I am thinking I will go before. Contractions have been getting stronger and stronger now, because I am dialting more and more. I am so excited for him to be here, and I know he is so excited to get out! Poor little guy is so squooshed in there. Rory and I are doing wonderful, of coarse. Rory is extatic for Logan to get here. They love eachother so much, it is the most precious thing ever. I am so blessed for what I have, my family, my life in general. Bed rest was a huge unsuccess, it is way to hard for me to be staying down all the time. Rory hates when I am up walking around or doing anything for that matter, but I am going insane here! After tuesday I won't have to be on bedrest any more, yipee! Our crib is seriously taking forever to get here but is supposed to be here on wendesday. After the crib gets here I will definiately feel less stressed about him coming. With out the crib he has no bed, and we are not going to let him get into the habit of him sleeping with us. Not enough room! :). I am really in the mood to clean and nest and get everything perfect, but Rory is making that hard. He really doesn't want Logan to be born early, in fact he wants him here at the beginning of June! Ahhhh, he must be crazy! :D. Well, I better get playing some Halo with Rory, the new one came out and Rory is the lucky one to get it before the release date! Tty all later!
