Almost 40 weeks!

Well, Little Logan coming early is not happening! Unless he can make his show in the next day, other wise, he will come on his due date or be late. Either way, I am happy. I am STILL in early labor. How? I have no clue. Most people are in early labor for 27 hours tops, me, oh its been a good week! They expected him last Sunday, that didn't happen. My doctor offered to induce me on Friday, my due date, but I would rather him come on his own when he is ready. Wheres the fun in choosing his birthday? If he doesn't come by Tuesday, we have to choose a day next week to be induced. Since I am trying to go all natural, I want to avoid an induction at all costs. They are more painful, and can last longer. It is said, 7 out of 10 people end up with C-sections when induced because of how long the labor can last. No thanks. I am 3 cm. 80% effaced at a -1 station. I am at an 11 on the bishop scale. She thinks I will for sure have him by Tuesday, I just don't know! Well it has been a great week! Rory and I's good friends Jared and Marci announced they are getting married end of August, beginning of September. They also just found out they are expecting! So cool! It will be good to have close friends with kids close to ours. It is 1:37 and I am up with contractions. I just got done puking in fact. Not sure why. Maybe the fact that I STILL have morning sickness every day, OH WELL! I can not wait to meet Logan! Rory is soooo excited. He loves him so much. I can not wait at all. He just needs to get here. Well, I am off to do some puzzles and play Solitaire. Good night!

38 weeks and ready!

I am 38 weeks tomorrow! Woohoo! I am 2 cms. and 80% effaced. Lost my mucus plug and passed my bloody show, any day they say! She said most likely this week, but it could still be a few more weeks. I noticed more contractions tonight though, yay! I feel like every little thing that happens I freak out thinking oh my gosh labor is coming! Usually after losing bloody show it comes with in 24 hours to a week. This happened on tuesday so I guess we will see lol! We have everything all set up for Logan and ready to meet him. Crib is up, seat is in the car, clothes washed and put away, and Rory and I just waiting and waiting. This pregnancy flew by! I am going to be sad not being pregnant any more though, Although I have had morning sickness since six weeks pregnant, I have stretch marks on my lower tummy ( Rory says he loves them :) ) heart burn, violation of my lady parts and weigh gain, I am really going to miss his kicking, hic cups, my belly, watching him move around, talking to him and getting a response back. It will all be missed. I know though, that when the time comes, we will have another and I will get to experience it all again. For now, we will enjoy the time of Rory, Shelby and Logan time! Well, I am off to get my nails done by the best husband ever, than cleaning! See ya later!

Nine months pregnant and ready for Logan

I am now officially nine months pregnant! Woohoo! I can not believe how fast this pregnancy went by. I am 1 centimeter dialated and 50% effaced and started losing my plug this week. My next appt. is on tuesday and after that Dr. Oneida will allow me to go into labor with out stopping it! Yay! My baby shower was a success, so much fun too! I got a lot of stuff! We still have to get a few things but we are set other wise. Theres 27 days til my due date, but I am thinking I will go before. Contractions have been getting stronger and stronger now, because I am dialting more and more. I am so excited for him to be here, and I know he is so excited to get out! Poor little guy is so squooshed in there. Rory and I are doing wonderful, of coarse. Rory is extatic for Logan to get here. They love eachother so much, it is the most precious thing ever. I am so blessed for what I have, my family, my life in general. Bed rest was a huge unsuccess, it is way to hard for me to be staying down all the time. Rory hates when I am up walking around or doing anything for that matter, but I am going insane here! After tuesday I won't have to be on bedrest any more, yipee! Our crib is seriously taking forever to get here but is supposed to be here on wendesday. After the crib gets here I will definiately feel less stressed about him coming. With out the crib he has no bed, and we are not going to let him get into the habit of him sleeping with us. Not enough room! :). I am really in the mood to clean and nest and get everything perfect, but Rory is making that hard. He really doesn't want Logan to be born early, in fact he wants him here at the beginning of June! Ahhhh, he must be crazy! :D. Well, I better get playing some Halo with Rory, the new one came out and Rory is the lucky one to get it before the release date! Tty all later!

34 weeks, bed rest and I could be going crazy.

So I am now thirty four weeks pregnant. Woohoo! It is getting so close! But, a little to close in my oppinion. Last monday night I woke up having intense contractions that were getting closer and closer. They were so painful they woke me up. I finally could fall asleep, my doctors appt. was the next morning. After telling Dr. Oneida everything, she decided to check me. It turns out I am about 2 centimeters dialted and 50% effaced. Yikes. She has now put me on bed rest. Oh boy, this will not work. I could die because I feel so lazy! She also started me on some medicine to stop contractions, and if they dont work I have to go in. It is hard to sit here and do nothing. I am nesting horribly, so the fact that I can not even clean is killing me. Rory is really abdiment on me staying in bed. My baby shower is next saturday and I am way excited. I just hope I can make it til than. The part that is stressing me the most is that the crib has not even got here yet. Ohhhhhh boy! Luckily I have a friend who is willing to let me use hers til ours get here. Other than that, life is swell. Ahead on bills, healthy and happy. Austin is doing great and has finally been able to email us. It is good to hear from him and know he is safe. Logan has the hiccups atleast 5 times a day. I got my first stretch mark. It is so tiny we barely noticed, but it is there. Just waiting on the others, if they show that is. Sleep is getting harder lately. Hard to sleep when you have a bulging belly :). Well, thats all for now. Typical.

31 weeks, yay!

Today I am 31 weeks pregnant. Still feels like forever away, but it is coming very fast. My baby shower is in a couple of weeks and I am super excited! Today, Rory is taking me to Village Inn to give in to my cravings for crepes. Silly, silly. Last night, we had all of our friends over and played Halo til three in the morning, yes I am dying from tiredness now. Haha! Rorys car payment is not due til July, which is awesome! That saves us four hundred a month for now. I was looking through all of my pictures and realized what a great husband and family I have. They would do anything for me and I love them so much. Logan is kicking up a storm, and I can tell he is dropping. When I stand up, there is so much pressure that I feel like I could fall over. Oh well, it just makes it feel that much closer. :)! Austin is now in Afghanistan. Scary, but it is actually going to be a good experience for him. He is going to offer a lot of smiles and laughs to the other troops and people of Afghanistan. That makes me happy. We have started setting up Logans room. It is so fun to do. I am so happy to be having a family with Rory. It is so cute how excited Rory is getting. He loves when Logan gets the hiccups, which has been a lot lately. It just makes me so thankful for what I have. Well, better go get ready for BRUNCH! :D

30 weeks

I am so done being pregnant. I want him here with us now! I am so sick of contractions that aren't going anywhere, peeing all the time when it is the most unconvenient time, heart burn that wakes me up gagging me and puking. I guess this will all be worth the suffering in 8 weeks. Logan is doing wonderful. He is growing and kicking more and more each day and it just keeps reminding me how close it really is. I think after the baby shower is when it will slow down the most. That's okay though, gives us enough time to get everything perfect. My nestning is off the hook. You will never see such a clean house. It seriously has been detailed cleaned every day for the past three weeks. I LOVE cleaning now. So weird. I love cleaning smells too. Odd. I guess it is because of my iron deficiency. I was wondering how my iron is so low, I take so many vitamins a day its crazy, than my dear Rory checked and found out my vitamins have no iron in them, that explains a lot. So Austin officially left for Afghanistan on monday. Sad day. Karlee went to San Diego and surprised him for his birthday and they had a ton of fun. I think that is just what they needed. I know he will be okay. He called this morning from Maine, his plane was heading off to Ireland, lucky boy. After Ireland he goes to another country for ten days, than off to Afghanistan. Let's hope this time flies by for everyone. So Stephanie will be having her C-section the week Logan is due, which means their is a great chance they will be born very close together, if not the same day. That would be exciting. I have been taking a short break from photo shoots lately because of my contractions. They come for hours on end, and than stop. The doctor says it is because I am doing to much, but I can not help it! I just really would not want to go into labor in the middle of a shoot. Oh boy. I could deal with them if they were Braxton Hicks, but these are full on " I am ready to get out of here" contractions. Thats okay, I will deal with them, I have to. I am hoping though that they will discontinue, and he will come AFTER the baby shower. Rory reallllly wants me to hold off til June, I just don't think Logan will be happy about that :). Lately, Rory and I and our friends started in on Halo again. I guess its a good down time thing for us. Lately we have been doing so much, it is nice to just sit back and relax. Halo Reach is coming out in May, and we are all wayyyyy excited! Finally! May is a good month, baby Logan is due, new Halo, lots of good movies coming out. So Rory and I are thinking about refinancing his car so we can pay it off even faster than a year. It would be like 7 months. We have been doing excellent with money so it works out perfect to send extra payments each month. We got me a credit card so I can build my credit enough to get our self a loan for our big Surprise in Feb. I am extra excited! Well, gotta get on putting ads! Talk to you all soon!

29 weeks

I am now twenty nine weeks and 5 days. Woohoo! It's going by so fast. The nesting has hit, and it hit hard! Our bathroom, room, and the rest of the house is always spotless. I swear I clean everything spotless every day. In fact, I went through all of our stuff and threw a bunch out. It feels good to be so organized. So last friday I started having contractions and they were really close together. I had not realized what contractions felt like, and put it off as Braxton Hicks. Turns out, they were full on contractions, I think they were brought on by to much work. Anyways, I feel like labor will be coming before what the docs are saying. My baby shower is coming up and I am super excited! It will be good to catch up with family and friends. Rory is going to go paintballing with a few of his friends that day. I am so excited for Easter. I just love the day. I am doing some Easter pictures this weekend, I am way excited. I love doing shoots, it is a great thing to get paid for doing what you love! Baby Logan is moving away right now, and it is so fun to watch and feel. I decided it was time to clip my toe nails and paint them. It took me about an hour to clip them because I can not see them and it is so uncomfortable to bring my feet up that high. When Rory noticed my struggle, he came to the rescue and painted my toe nails, beautifully as well! He also did my finger nails. He is so sweet and I love him so much! Now, if I can just get him to shave my legs :). So I got my glucose test done, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. The drink was disgusting, and the blood test was as good as it could be. I start going in every two weeks now, and time is flying by! Tonight, Rory, myself, Jared and Marci went bowling. I actually did good and got the same score as Rory. Of coarse, it was one of Rory's lowest scores, 100, but hey now, not every one can be as good as him! Haha. I am off to bed, tomorrow will be a long day!
